Pressing is one of the foundational movement patterns. This is where most people start—and where everything from push-ups to dumbbells and barbells is built.
At its core, pressing is about creating force while staying organized through your body. Whether you're on the ground or under load, the goal is the same—stay tight, control the movement, and finish strong.
The push-up is the simplest place to begin. If you can control your body here, everything else builds from it.
